Its Diwali today n wish u all a very Happy Diwali :-)
Yesterday(Friday), 3 movies were released: Main aur Mrs Khanna, Blue n All the Best. I just had to watch Blue at any cost....cos it had gr8 promos n awesome music. The other two movies just dint seem to have the right promos atleast to lure me to the hall!
So, it was decided that i'll go for the 9:30 show of Blue but somehow i decided to check its reviews and to my dismay i found it dint do well at Box Office, the reviews suggested it was more of hype n lacked content....so i dropped the idea for going for it...though i really felt bad for it!
Than i checked the reviews of other 2 movies as well n found All the Best had promising reviews..and decided to give it a shot.
I saw the 6:30 show and man it turned out to be an awesome movie....it has almost perfect timing of comedy and i am sure it'll keep you laughing throughout.
The characters in the movie are many still they have managed to induce humor rather than confusion. Its a light-hearted comedy...and certainly the best entertainer of the week :-)
Story is not much but i assure it'll keep you tickling :D
So, i recommend a must watch for this movie.
My Rating: 3.5 stars

Movie Review: Dil Bole Hadippa and Wanted
Hindi muvies always mean more of Hoopla!!
Large banners, posters, innumerable promos/trailers...all mark the coming of a new flick!
The movies that 'm gonna write about are more than a week old...and most of u have atleast seen either or both of 'em!
But still the rest might find some relevant guidance ;-)
1) Dil Bole Hadippa
Cast as we all know Rani n Shahid...i saw it in inox, so liked the show as such!
but not that good muvi 2 see(atleast not worth 265 bucks)...still a good 1 time watch if u can get it for free...lol
Rani turns into a guy(looks such a nerd)...to play in the men's cricket team and falls in love with the team captain/coach and than a double role..lol.....but believe me, we are that stupid even to watch all this stuff.
Shahid has not done much in the movie...he was far better in kamine!!
The only thing in the muvi is Rani's impressive acting...which deserves one watch :-)
So, grab a copy somehow and enjoy it at home!
My rating: 2 stars
2) Wanted
Sallu miyan is back along with Ayesha Takia!
The movie is a remake of a super-hit telugu movie.
i dwnloaded it frm net and saw it!
i dint expect much...but the muvi was an entertainer!!
Light hearted comedy...with sallu style fighting!!
I'll put it as a "Comic action" movie.
Ayesha takia is looking nice in the movie..she has lost weight after her marriage :D
Story is a big comedy; a Tapori/underworld ka bhai(Radhey) turns out to be a ....... :P
The romance is also opposite...Ayesha keeps trying for sallu...who never gives her a chance!!
Dialog delivery aint good at all....and too many songs in the movie marr the fun...lol
Still a nice time-pass muvi.....go 4 it.. :-)
My rating: 3 stars
Well u guys enjoy these movies, while i see "Road Trip 2 - the beer pong" tonight!
Cheers,
Ankit

The food at ITPL
ITPL is the place where my office is located!
It is supposed to be the biggest tech-park in Aisa...with more than 145 companies and 20k+ engineers....At places like this you realize how common you are!
There is a tech-mall here where there are many eateries, and i have both my meals of the day(no breakfast for me!) in the mall only!
So, this post mainly covers the to be tried "food items" in and around ITPL....with a flavor of me added to them..;-)
ppl can comment and add whatever they feel like!
For people who prefer chinese stuff, The chinese shop in Food Court is a great place; American Choupsey, Chicken Kothai and Butter Garlic noodles are a must try for all!
Hakka noodles in Geeky Dhaba are also good(very cheap as well)
The shop next(right-hand side) to the Chinese Shop in Food court has a good Kerala Parota served with Chicken curry....calls for a try as well :-)
Kadamba has 2-3 good items worth trying as well:
1) Aaloo Parantha/Stuffed parantha
2) Puliogare(tamarind rice)
3) Masala Dosa/Rava Dosa
Geeky Dhaba is undoubtedly the best food point in ITPL...only -ve is that it has only veg stuff!!
But highly economical and tasty food as well..
1) The Buffet there is good....if hungry it is the only place to be!
2) Sattu parantha and plain parantha are worth giving a try.
3) Chole Bhature r really good here!
4) dum biryani & hakka noodles must be given a try as well.
5) chocolate fudge and Gud Bud are good ice-creams...yummy!!
6) Mawa-kachori there is tasty as well.
Heading on...chicken biryani at Paramount is good as well.:-)
Juice Junction has 2 very good sandwiches worth trying: Panner-cheese grill and Fruit-grilled sandwich!
KFC n Pizza Hut neednt mention anything! u know when to go there :P
Civic is awesome for Team treats :D.....it has a good ambiance! though vegetarians dont have much options(for the buffet)
and also outside ITPL....Krishna Dhaba(interestingly run by an ex-Fioranoite) has mouth-watering paranthas!!
These are the places i visit the most....i hope ppl can add on to the list..:-)
Well now i am hungry as well....and going off for dinner~!
Love ya all,
Ankit

A new start
I had a blog: www.sabka-ankit.blogspot.com, but lost it somehow...so here is a fresh one!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Its 10:15 pm...'m the sole body in the office that is haunting me more than ever.
Its raining outside....no umbrella, no rain-coats nothing...only God knows, how'll I get home!
This is life dear...and i simply love it!
At 21...i am no more than a 12 yr old at heart....though my post is of a Sales-Engineer in a decent firm...still i doubt it at times :D
From 'osho' to 'vivekananda' to 'IIMs' to 'GMAT' to 'starting my own business' to 'philosophy' to anything from everything....i seem to be lost....a good case of a typically confused 'Indian Desi'.
Just like most people...taking life as it comes! (though i badly n seriously wanna change it)
As of now, having a nice time in Bnglr!
A cosy house, nice job(very good colleagues), enough money to spend..:-)
Top of it all....i need not set any alarm when i sleep cos i usually dont wake up before 11:00 am...thanks to my job timing of 12:30-10:30!
Life is smooth n i dnt seek more than 2-3 more things in life....than i'll be fully content..:-)
Other than those untimely rains (i got drenched in rain yesterday night), the weather is magnificent out here.
Going home on 13th OCt....so very happy for that!
But next week....both monday and friday is off for all...except for my team....so i feel bad about it as well.
'll follow up with some interesting write-ups....and the next one will be...."The Food at ITPL" ..lol!
May peace and happiness prevail all over...
Love ya all,
Ankit
